Idle Dreadnought Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Idle Dreadnought game ("the game") handles your information. The short version: the game does not ask for, collect or sell your personal data.
Who we are
The game is published by Griffiths Programming Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 14200981, registered office 9 William Crow Road, Springfield, Chelmsford, England, CM1 6HD. We are the data controller for any personal data described in this policy.
What the game stores
Your progress, settings and save data are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us. If you uninstall the game or clear its data, this information is deleted.
What we do not collect
- We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or other contact details.
- The game does not include advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.
- We do not access your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
Network connections
Some versions of the game may contact our server to check whether an update is available. That request contains only the game's version and release channel. Like any web server, ours may briefly record your IP address and the time of the request in technical logs, for security and to keep the service running. We do not use these logs to identify you, and we delete them routinely.
Google Play
If you download the game from Google Play, Google processes information such as your purchase and install history, crash reports and device information, under Google's Privacy Policy. Google may share anonymised, aggregated statistics and crash reports with us, which we use only to improve the game.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because the game keeps your data on your device, we usually hold no personal data about you. If you have a question or want to exercise your rights, email us at the address below. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the game handles data, for example by adding online features or purchases, we will update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect.
